Coeur de Lion – Estate Architectural and Landscape Master Plan

This project represents a comprehensive estate-scale landscape master plan where architecture, land, and long-term vision are unified into a singular, enduring composition. Conceived as a modern interpretation of a European-inspired estate, the design establishes a powerful sense of arrival while maintaining balance, restraint, and clarity across an expansive rural setting.

A formal gated entry anchors the experience, introducing a strong axial approach framed by tree-lined drives and disciplined geometry. From the first moment, the landscape communicates order, permanence, and legacy. The master plan organizes the property through a hierarchy of avenues, courtyards, and garden rooms, allowing the estate to unfold gradually while preserving privacy and scale.

The central residence is positioned as the focal point of the composition, supported by symmetrically arranged lawns, structured plantings, and carefully proportioned hardscape. Auxiliary structures, greenhouses, and service areas are seamlessly integrated into the overall framework, ensuring functionality without compromising visual cohesion. Long sightlines, framed vistas, and rhythmic planting patterns reinforce the estate’s architectural language and elevate the experience from every viewpoint.

Beyond aesthetics, the design prioritizes longevity and adaptability. Materials, grading, and planting strategies were selected to mature gracefully over time, ensuring the landscape strengthens rather than diminishes with age.
